Mary Kay Corporate Comes to Charlotte

I am a Mary Kay girl but I am much different than the tippically "Mary Kay type". I naturally love skin care and keep my make-up to the minimum. I have totally fallen in love with the products, the price, girl friends, trips, prizes, being my own boss and there morals.

Mary Kay corporate comes to Charlotte in the spring to put on a Career Conference. It's a great way to connect with your team and lock arms towards one goal. I was super excited that one of my "on fire" senior consultants joined me this year. Check us out:

Carissa- it is so fun to do life with you and i can't wait to see your achieve all your dreams.

This year I was recognized on stage for all my hard work. I have moved up to Star Team Builder and I get a lovely RED jacket. It's fun to wave to hundreds of ladies.

Please meet my high school friend and Sales Director, Holly Hill from Greenville, SC.

I am so excited to see our team continue to grow. This month out Starter kits are only $75, who can start a company for that this days!?! Message me for more information of you are looking to get skin care wholesale, make extra cash or earn that PINK CADDY!!!

Happy Thursday YALL!

Turning junk into treasure

Rehabbing furniture is something I hold dear to my heart. God revealed to me this week that when we come to him, we can look like an old pieace of furniture filled with dents and brusing from everyday life. But when we come to him he layers us little by little and makes us into a beautiful masterpiece.
Here is a piece that I found that needed some help and I made it into a beautiful masterpiece for it's new home. I will in another post explain the process of making furniture into somethjng beautiful.
I must say i am so thankful for God to allow me to find beauty in everyday life. My life would not be the same without my Savior. Think of your passions and peruse them to the fullest.

Happy Friday y'all!!!

I started this blog for my class at APP State but now this dream is becoming a reality. I have dreamed of being a designer since childhood but never knew which direction to take this dream. Clothing, Home Decor, Weddings, and really making anything beautiful is my passion. I have searched for many years of what truly makes me happy and let's say "I am a total people pleasure". So by saying this, if my client is happy with the results then I am.

This past week my dreams have started to come true because I landed my very first home interior job plus sold my very first rehab furniture piece. There will be many pictures to follow of my resent projects. I have a flair for making  ugly things beautiful. It reminds me of my relationship with Christ because he takes all the junk we have in our life and transforms into a beautiful masterpiece. This comparison came to mind while looking at the before and after photo's.
The direction of my company is "to make things beautiful". I will have furniture, clothing, Mary Kay, home design, home staging, and even some event planning piece's featured on my page. Please bare with me while I decide the complete direction of my "Designer" dream becoming a "REAL DREAM".

Thanks for checking out my Blog and I look forward to working with you in the future!!!

Social Media Continues to Grow

Media and Internet sources have developed so much in the last 5 years. I have been far more advanced than most and have had a blog for many years. Blogs are a way for family members, friends, and even society to keep up with your personal life. Facebook and Blogs were the first ways to start social media; however, we now have sites like Instragram and Pinterest. Pinterest is a way for your blogs to be marketed in mass production.

In the next 5 years, the Internet will continue to grow in followers as there means of communication, news, and entertainment. There are less and less forms of written books, newspapers, magazines and even textbooks. Everything has gone virtual and it will continue too. In the last few days, I have discovered a new App on the Iphone called "Next Issue", it is a way to read magazines through the Internet. This site is helpful because you can read your magazine everywhere you go instead of the magazine's to just sit on your coffee table and soon to be thrown in the trash. Also, we see this with books through our Kindles and Ipad's. Technology continues to advance and its neat to see it continue to change.

It is so important for us to continue to grow and learn continually or we will be left behind. I am an older distance education student and I have been to traditional college. In my early 20s, I thought learning would just stop but I have seen its only just the beginning.
